Had the same problems. It wasn't until after 4 or 5 missions that we thought to check. One of our members had run a single mission ages ago. It didn't show until we'd actuall got above 0.05. Right-click on the corp standings and show compositions....

The Amarr COSMOS area is in Araz, but I think the tags that are dropped are generic tags usable only for the COSMOS missions. But don't quote me on that.

If you look at the map and right-click on the region names, you're able to avoid entire regions, not just the entry points. Half a dozen right clicks should stop you ever blundering into Gallente space ever again.
